Revision of Previous Microtheme

                                                  Time for Studying?
Considering I have many responsibilities in my life, like caring for a four month year old kid and working, I find it hard to incorporate time to study. I know many people have graduated from college but how did they find time to study?
If we could do anything but study, I know most of us would.  Like myself I know many people are in school while having to work with children. Since the children come first, I think it is reasonable to allow my child to have its fun, and when it goes to sleep i can study then instead of sleeping myself. Sometimes we understand that the sacrifices we make are all for the kids, so we have to study whenever we can. Also instead of letting the world distract us it is important that we put our priorities first. Instead of being entertained by the television, we need to grab our books and entertain ourselves with learning.
All we need to do is portraits our time and we will have time to study. Studying is the only way to get through college successfully so it is important to manage out tie wisely.

Awesome Microthemes

I found doing the micro theme was challenging at first. It is hard to write about a problem and not be bias, make claims, or be insulting. Class on Monday really clarified for me how to write it, without doing any of the previous things
The main thing I learned to do in the first paragraph is get to the point and ask a question. At first I struggles with too much background information, and aimless rambling, but I think i cleaned it up good. I stated my opinion on a problem, and got to the point and asked my question. the rest just flowed from there.
I found it hard to get to the point of my problem without making allegations. Its hard not to be assertive and point the finger when your trying to get a point across. All in all however I feel pretty confident about my micro theme.

Great Reviews

I read the review of After tiller by Washington post and i could not have review it better. I think it was an awesome review and really got the point of the documentary. They hit it right one when they said the documentary was one to not judge which it was not. This documentary just showed the real story or real people and whats going on in their life and why the are seeking a third trimester abortion. While some are very unsettling in my opinion the filmmakers doesn't let us know their opinion which is good. I also agree with the review when they said it will make you change your perspective because I totally agree. I know it changed mine for sure.

After Tiller

I  watched the Film After tiller by Greg O' Toole. I was pro-choice before I started watching this film, but I am very open to all opinions about the subject of abortion, which is a hard, conversational topic all in itself. As I said I am pro-choice, but was not open  to third trimester abortions. After hearing the ladies story of how her child could not have a quality of live i really sympathized with her. It was really sad hearing them cry about having to abort their babies because of their medical conditions. For example one baby would not get part of its brain, and another one would basically be a vegetable, The women even explained how they already picked out the decor for their babies room. This really made me sad. Either they bring the baby into the world and struggle emotionally, and finanically and not even being able to spend time with their kids for more than 3 years, r let the child be free now. It also really pissed e off that the protesters were outside during the same time, and trying to make the women feel guilty. This really shows how close minded people really are, and how judgmental people are. They have no idea whats going on in that women's life and have the nerve to tell her what to do about their baby.
One scene that surprised me was that their was a woman all the way from France, trying to get an abortion and at 32 weeks at that. I was also surprised at how many people protest Dr.Carhart, more than the other Doctors.
A question I still have is why the film didn't really specify why the teenagers, 16 and 19 didn't try to have an abortion earlier, if they knew they did not want the child. Some concepts that i seen to be problematic is the Laws on abortion, and if the fetus could actually feel pain after 20 weeks, Many people believe, it does but Doctors say theres not real proof. The protestors were problematic, considering it ultimately led to the death of one of the doctors. Overall the safety of the Doctors is very problematic considering abortion, especially after the third trimester r is a very touchy subject, and many people feel strongly about it. One doctor was already killed, how many more?
