Finally DONE
I have finished my rational argument paper and I must say it was interesting to write. I mainly struggled with finding a topic. I wanted to pick an interesting topic that I could actually make an argument about. Trump is defiantly somebody I can argue about all day.😼 I enjoyed writing this paper, mainly because, my articles were interesting. All of the skills I have learned during throughout this course really made this paper a breeze. Just a little grammatical errors here and there, but other than that I feel confident about the paper. However, I feel my paper was more informative than an argument, the information gets the argument across, if that makes sense. There is still a clear argument however, and I think i have valid sources, to back it up.

Time Flies
I can not believe that this semester is almost over. I am about to be a sophomore in college, and it feels like I just started my freshman year two weeks ago. This first year of college I have learned that just doing your work is not good enough. All throughout high school I did the minimum and got by with A's. College is a whole different stories especially being in the nursing program. I am excited for this semester to be over, and I think I learned a lot and overall grew as a student academically because I learned that i always need to put my best foot forward, and stop procrastinating. I am ready for finals and finally summer. This first year really has flew by.
I am very excited for what next semester brings.

Updating Knowledge
So I did some research regarding my last post, and researched a little about the Syrian war. The article I read was on bbc.com called Why is There a War in Syria? According to this website the civil war started 6 years as a peaceful protest against Syria's president Bashar-al Assad. They were protesting against the high unemployment rate, lack if political freedom and just along together corruption. Basically Assad used excessive force against protectors and its been all hell from there.
I know in my last blog post, I said something needed to done, but I don't know how I feel about the United States ultimately getting involved. I justice Trumps decision in the air strike as maybe trying to help people like those innocent children, but also I don't want to go to war. In my opinion what he did was an act in war, and of course something is going to be done back. Maybe he could of done something more peaceful? I don't know, but I just wish we lived in perfect world where everyone just got along. In my dreams right?

What Has The World come to?
The war going on with Syria right now is honestly so brutal it saddens me every time I see something news about it. I going to be honest, and I know I sound ignorant, but I do not even know who is at War with Syria, or how it started. I know it has been going on for a while, and thousands of innocent civilians have been getting killed because of it. I understand War is violent, but I think it needs to come to a stop when so many innocent people are dying. It almost reminds me of the Vietnam war. All our men were dying, and killing so many innocent people. Even if the Syrian war doesn't involve the USA it needs to stop. I am usually not the type of person to keep up with wars, but this war has been all over the news.
Yesterday their was a chemical attack in Syria. It has harmed many people, and from what i read thus far killed 11 children. When is it to far? What is the point of killing all these incident people, especially with a odorless, tasteless chemical. Chemical warfare really scares me, and I just pray for these people and their families, and hopefully it will come to an end soon.

GET OUT!
As many know the movie Get Out! is a big topic right now. I have seen the movie and personally think it was a great movie. At first I did not even want to see the movie, just because it didn't appeal to me, but after all the rave I had to see it, and i'm glad I did. I am also familiar with the director, Jordan Peele, because of his popular tv Key and Peele, where he is hilarious. I was very shocked he came out with a movie, but less shocked that the movie did have some hilarious parts.
All in all the movie was on a real issue, that I wasn't even aware of. I love when movies incorporate real life things to send out a message. The first one was racism of course. The movie is filled with stereotypes of white and blacks that were all actually true in my opinion. The big message of the movie however was organ stealing. Seeing the movie, made me do so research. Like I know this sh* isn't real, but it would not hurt to research right? Eh, horrified about the information I came across I was left in shock. I even found an article, almost completely related to the movie. "The illegal Harvesting of Black Mans organs are going unnoticed" by affinity magazine, names, numerous black individuals found dead with their organ missing. Also the thing half these cases, are they are being covered up. hmm

Fake News
Now, that social media is a big craze, fake news is becoming more relevant. For example, we see things on instagram, that are top in headlines, but many times we don't know if its photoshopped. Fake news is misleading obviously , and I do not really understand the point of it.
Fake news is also very prevalent in the last presidential election we have has thus far. There was fake news about Hillary Clinton, fake news about Donald trump, everything about this years past election has been a joke, but i am not going to touch on that. Donald trump himself, spewed out a number of unreliable claims, that just made him look worse in my opinion. Fake news comes from people who only want to make themselves look better, and fool you to think their credible, but their really not.
